JIM ESKIN, FUNDRAISING CONSULTANT
Jim enjoys championing philanthropy and its transforming power to advance good causes that improve the world through their respective missions. He is passionate about getting others engaged in philanthropy and applies more than 30 years of experience in public affairs, communications and fundraising to help them tap into its power to expedite good works.


Jim established records for gifts from individuals at The University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA), Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) and Alamo Colleges Foundation, which tripled its assets and scholarship dollars awarded under his leadership as Executive Director. His training has helped hundreds of non-profit board members, volunteers and staff develop strategies, overcome their fear of asking for gifts, and achieve their fundraising goals.


Jim is from Boston and has a B.A. in Urban Affairs from George Washington University. He is the author of more than 100 articles that have appeared in daily newspapers and business journals across the country. Since 1996 he has published STRATAGEMS, a free monthly newsletter exploring timely issues and trends in philanthropy, advocacy, and image. He is also producer and co-host of the weekly KROV radio program, “Time, Talent and Treasure.”
